Interview Etiquette: Strategies for Success

Unsure about how to present yourself for an interview? This workshop will focus on points
of etiquette that will make your interview flow smoothly and will leave your interviewer
with a great impression of you! Topics will include greetings, attire, interviewing
over a meal, networking at social events and much more.

Program
Joaquin Feliciano earned his Ph.D. in December 2004 from the UC Davis Ecology Graduate Group. While completing his degree, Dr. Feliciano also served as the Graduate Student Assistant to the Dean of Graduate Studies and the Chancellor, where he advocated for graduate student concerns and served as a resource for new and continuing graduate and professional students. He was also awarded both the Chancellor's Teaching Fellowship and the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award. In 2003, he began working full-time for UC Davis as a Conduct Coordinator with the Student Housing Office, supervising live-in student Resident Advisors and enforcing student conduct policy in the residence halls. Since 2005 he has been working as the Program Manager for the UCD Washington Program, which gives students the opportunity to study and intern in the nation's capital. Dr. Feliciano earned his B.A. in Biology from Swarthmore College and was an officer in the US Navy for 4 years prior to enrolling in graduate school at UC Davis.
